The Profitable Servant

The Lord said, "If you love me, keep my commandments."

~ John 14: 15 ~

Ecclesiastes 12: 13 tells us, "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for it is the whole duty of man."

Luke 17: 10 tells us, "So likewise you, when you shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, 'We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.'"

Matthew 5: 19 describes those who will be called "the least" in the kingdom of heaven and those who will be called "great". Surely, those who will be called "great" must be profitable servants. This scripture holds the key to becoming a Profitable Servant.

"Whosoever therefore shall break one of the least of these commandments, and teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."                                                                         ~ Matthew 5: 19 ~
